As a subsidiary of VELA Group SE, VELA Performance GmbH develops innovative solutions in the automotive and non-automotive sectors.
Our team of lightweight construction specialists develops high-performance components and systems for automobiles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, as well as the aerospace and medical technology industries.
We cover the entire process: from initial product sketches to functional prototypes, which are assembled in our in-house workshop.
Your tasks & activities:
Project management
professional and disciplinary responsibility for the project team
operational planning and coordination of tasks as well as ensuring deadlines and budget targets are met.
regular reporting on the status of the projects to management
Leading external project meetings as the main point of contact for the client.
Ensuring project handover to the customer
Support for the accounting department in the billing of projects
Further development of communication with our customers
Support for sales in creating and reviewing offers
proactive further development of internal processes
Your abilities:
Completed technical studies in the field of automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline
Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the automotive sector
technical understanding
sound knowledge in vehicle engineering and manufacturing processes
Exceptional teamwork skills and resilience, as well as a structured and goal-oriented work style.
Social skills as well as a confident and convincing demeanor
Excellent communication skills in German and English
