Project / Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Our interdisciplinary team supports customers from the initial technical concept through development, design, and prototype construction to industrialization and prototype and small-series production.

We combine comprehensive engineering expertise with a high-performance manufacturing and supplier network to deliver turnkey technical solutions from a single source.
Your tasks & activities:
Independent management and control of development projects
Conceptualization, development and constructive design of components, assemblies and tools, taking into account technical requirements
Creation and maintenance of project plans, specifications and requirements documents.
Contact person for customers, suppliers and internal departments
Coordination of internal and external development partners
Organization and moderation of project meetings and technical reviews
Identification and assessment of technical risks and development of suitable measures
Your abilities:
Completed studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical field
Professional experience in technical project management or product development
Technical understanding of development and manufacturing processes
Several years of practical experience in the professional use of CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design and Generative Shape Design) as well as sound knowledge of PLM systems.
Confident use of MS Office
Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Fluent German and good English skills
Willingness to travel for customer and supplier appointments
