CAD Designer (m/f/d)
As a subsidiary of VELA Group SE, VELA Performance GmbH develops innovative solutions in the automotive and non-automotive sectors.
Our team of lightweight construction specialists develops high-performance components and systems for automobiles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, as well as the aerospace and medical technology industries.
We cover the entire process: from initial product sketches to functional prototypes, which are assembled in our in-house workshop.
Your tasks & activities:
Conceptual design and detailed construction of components and tools, taking into account the technical requirements.
Surface modeling
active coordination within the development team and with our customers/suppliers
Conducting concept studies
Implementation of innovative solutions taking into account technical feasibility
Knowledge of the manufacturing process
Detailed responsibility in the constructive design
Support in creating specifications
Your abilities:
Completed technical studies or technician/technical product designer in the field of automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable discipline
Several years of professional experience in the field of construction
Safe handling of a CAD system
technical understanding
sound knowledge in vehicle engineering and manufacturing processes
Exceptional teamwork skills and resilience, as well as a structured and goal-oriented work style.
Good communication skills in German and English.
